I could use some help in making a decision about camera phones.
I am in my 8th month of a 1 year contract with Verizon. I own a LG VX-6000 camera phone that works perfectly 100% of the time..
I am interested in getting a new camera phone in thse order of choices. LG VX-8000(if it ever comes out), Moto v710 and LG VX-7000.
A friend of my owns a moto v600 and he has had many problems with it.(he has ATTWS service) I have heard a lot of "bad things" Motorola on several different forums. So I really don't trust their phones. The LG VX-7000 is not that much different from my LG VX-6000.

Well i have been looking to get a new phone also. I have the 6000 as well. Being a tech i see alot of the phones. the 7000 looks pretty nice . The v710 ehhhhhhhhhh i would wait for the 810. My brother has the 710, you cannot hear very well on this phone and like said before trying to use the phone at night even with the light totally sucks. I personally am goign to wait till i can play with a v810 demo.

Well, if you're a VZW rep, you'll be waiting forever. The 810 was rejected and won't be sold through VZW.

I would recommend waiting for the 8000. Impressive 1X_RTT, great RF Sensitivity, and the EV-DO once it rolls out to all areas will be incredible. If you happen to be "lucky" enough to live under a cell tower, you could burst to 1.5 Mbps!

VZW has done quite a lot of work installing back-up generators in its BTS's to continue service beyond the 3-hour batteries in the event of power failure. Glad to know you are ok through that hurricane, though. Be careful as the next one approaches.
