Class Action Lawsuit Status?
Late last year there was a Class Action Lawsuit filed against Verizon, and I remember reading that they lost and will have to pay to current customers and former customers.
Does anyone know the status of this payout, or where I can find out about it?
What are they giving former customers? Think it was supposed to be LD calling cards.

Here is the thing.
If the CAL was against Verizon for LD cards then it was for the landline division.
Us here in the wireless division have no idea about anything that happens in the landline OR DSL divisions.
Sorry mate.

It was definitely wireless service, that much I remember, because I was sent a form to sign if I was no longer a customer (made a copy). If you were a customer, you were automatically considered 'in', of course.
Verizon did have something about it on their site back in May, but can't find anything now, or even current doing a search.
Just curious as to what is happening and if you no longer have wireless service with them, how will you be compensated? Hmm...
