CDMA2000 Continues to Encourage Healthy Competition in India
NEW DELHI, Dec. 18, 2006 — The CDMA Development Group (CDG) announced today that the total number of CDMA2000® subscribers in India reached 42.25 million, with 1.77 million new subscribers added during the month of November. Leading regional operators, Reliance Communications and Tata Teleservices, account for more than 26 million and 14 million subscribers respectively.
