Well, my brother ended up breaking his slider screen the other week and it is cracked and bleeding bad. I spoke with a VZW rep on the phone and they said something about $15 for a replacement screen. (If find the previous hard to believe), they also talked about getting a FRU unit under MFG WRTY? I know people in the repair business and they said it would be more like at least $100.
So the other day I bring it to a corporate Verizon store and they say that they do not fix screens at all. I mentioned the notes in the account about a FRU unit, and hey said no way. (Now I didn't expect to get a FRU unit truthfully, but I did expect to get information on me paying out of pocket for a repair, not a free one) I find this hard to be...

Jesus, stay away from RS repair if you value having your brother speaking to you. I used to work for R$, and I can tell you that without a doubt, the repair center in Fort Worth is the most incompetent bunch of clowns I've ever seen. I used to dread having to send customers' phones out for repair. It was inevitably a two-week job, even for something simple like changing a battery, and frequently, the phone would be returned unrepaired, broken further "in shipping", missing some vital ...
