If I only extend my contract for 1 year and pay the extra money for the phone.. Am I then eligable for a phone upgrade after 12 months instead of 24? Any word how much the the Nokia 6255i is supposed to be when released? 🙄

When was the date of the last phone purchase you made at a discounted price? How much of a discount did you get--did you sign a 1 or 2 year contract. How much is price plan and how long have you been on this price plan?

Extending your contract due to a price plan change has no bearing to when you can upgrade your phone.

You're actually eligible for an upgrade after 10 months instead of 12 with a 1 year CSA.

On your second question, God only knows. I'd guess around the $50 price point, given Nokia's habit of not making high-end phones for VZW & the fact that Spint sells a similar phone for $60 with a 2 year CSA.

Before you ask "When?", who the hell knows? We've been waiting on the Nokia 6019i, the replacement for the delightful 3589i, for quite a while now.

You are eligible for a phone at contract pricing after 10 months. You are *not* eligible for New Every Two pricing where you get a $100 discount in addtion to contract pricing. To get New Every Two, you have to be on pricing 34.99 or higher for 22 consecutive months. You also have to sign onto a two year contract when you get New Every Two.
