If there's any type of metal used in the apartment building you live in, it'll block much of the signal from penetrating the building. If that's the case, there's nothing that the wireless company can do for you. The building my brother works in is all steel. Outside, the signal strength is excellent, but once inside the building, he gets no service. This happens with all carriers, not just Verizon Wireless. It happens with Sprint, T-Mobile, Cingular/AT&T, & USCC. O...

I forgot to mention the phones used at my place. I originally started out with a Motorola 120c, and while that phone was overall crap, it did work in my home with full signal strength. I've also used a Samsung a650 & a930 with problems. My sister has used a Nokia 3589i & Samsung a850. My mother has used a Nokia 3589i & Nokia 6256i. My brother has used a Motorola V265 & LG VX4400, and his LG works slightly better at reception than his Motorola V265 did, and his quit working a year into his contract, and had no insurace on the phone. So he's back to his LG VX4400. I should mention I have an uncle who has a Motorola (don't know model) & an LG VX6100, and has problems with reception in his home. He usually gets 3 bars outside, but only 1...

actually...yes seriously.....when I moved into my apt about 2 years ago....I went on and on with Verizon as to why I was not able to get good coverage inside my apt and the minute I went outside the signal got better. I was really pissed off because I had friends who had T Mobile and Sprint and their phones worked great inside my apt. Thefore I dont think its entirely what my apt building is made out of. If Sprint and T Mobile are able to get good coverage inside my apt. so should Verizon. And like I said...so far....Verizon always dropps calls while I am talking on my cell in my apt.

Did you ever think that maybe the other two have a tower closer to the apartment building? Have you called VZW to determine where the closest tower is or ask if they are building any new towers in the area? Once upon a time a used to throw my money away to a scumlord and had a similar issue until I and several of the people in the area complained and eventually a tower was put up.
Hey, aren't you the same one that has been trying to get out of a valid contract that you signed because of some bogus increase in text message charges? Why did you sign another contract if the services are so bad anyway????

yes I am the same one....this would have been the perfect opportunity to get out of my contract...and I did it for that reason....

I have not singed another contract yet....

But Verizon doesn't guarantee service inside buildings. You'll get shot down trying to end the contract without an ETF because the service doesn't work inside your house...

actually....this is what started my whole dislike for Verizon Wireless.....Why Cingular and T-Mobile were able to work in my apt. just fine and I was having all this trouble w/ Verizon. I used a number of different phones, but to no avail....Verizon still sucks in my apt...even as we speak. As a matter of fact I was just on my cell phone tonight and had 2 dropped calls while I was talking on it. That really made me mad. I did not have dropped calls for a while and all of a sudden it has been acting up🙂

False. I think VZW CS is superb. I've NEVER been outsourced and the the people have always been helpful.

Especially compared to my last carrier, CINGULAR! 👀

they need what sprint has. You send a text message to your phone and it locks it so no one can use it. And wipes your personal info off it!

If I read right the gzOne is water resistant and is built to the same military spec as 5 nextel phones. Is that correct or am I an idiot! 🤣

I dunno wom I would have to look at all the specs on those nextel phones, but I don't believe they have the water resistant level of this phone. peep the specs here man they are very impressive.

it looks better. And I don't like nextel service so I would have to say I would go with what you have. But I think the specs are identically as far as dirt water drop resistant and all that. But it comes down to the SERVICE. I like sprint but not nextel unless all you want is PTT! Their voice sounds like a CB call oh wait the is essential what it is!!
