Phone advice...

Hey everyone,

I'm overwhelmed. I've been through the last 10-12 pages of this verizon forum and I've gleaned little real information about the general pros and cons of the various phones verizon has to offer right now....

I need to get a pair of new phones, for my wife and I. We've been using the V265's for the past 2 years and they're starting to crap out. I'm on my second (it got swapped out at 1 year). My wife is still on her first.

We don't really care about the vcast stuff or texting, etc. Excellent reception and clarity is important. A good speakerphone is essential. (the v265's is average at best). Sturdy quality and durability would be nice too! Conversely, if the phone has good bluetooth to headset capability, that ...

As a seller of Verizon Wireless I recommend the LG 8300 or Motorola V325i. If you want a good Nokia try the 6315i.

Been to a verizon store today, the V325i looks very poorly and cheaply made...The LG8300 by comparison looked solid...

How many 325i's do you get returned?

I hate moto but the 325i is a great phone. We haven't had any returned to us. I would go with that or the 8300.

I concur...from what you've said, I'd suggest the V325i, right now its BOG3...so with NE2 you'd pay $50 up front, get a $50 refund, total after refund for both would be $0.00.

I do like the 8300 too, but not on promo here.

NO 325i's returned...

The V325i is not poorly and cheaply made. You must be thinking of the W315. Besides, if you like the 8300 then get the 8300.

The 315 looks like a plastic toy, but it's pretty tough. But the 8300 is nice as well. I think it looks cheaper than the motos.

He should get the 325i. He says he doesn't need Vcast.

the 325I is a solid phone, had very little problems or returns on this model. The 8300 is also a solid choice, but if you don't care about music and vcast and camera quality and just want a solid phone not sure if it is worth paying extra for it?

I have had both returned for different reasons, not as much as i did with the v265s....But i still will say the 325i good solid mid range phone..8300 good soild high end phone. the difference is $30 at our store. for me 8300 minus everything else the memory card capable. after my v710 i will never by a phone with out a memory card slot. so i can save and move my pics and video. Good Luck let us know what ou get.
