I recently purchased the Voyager and have been pretty satisfied with the phone thus far.....I have a few gripes, basically the battery life sucks....I dont know how many times I have had the phone opened to send text messages and then I find out a day or so later the battery is dead cause I had the phone opened. I like the phone but am kicking myself for not waiting for something a little better to come out. Anyone got any ideas? I was actually looking at the Samsung with the flip up keyboard but found that it got mixed reviews.

What the heck...any one else having issues since an update went out last week. My navigator is taking crazy routes and adding hours onto trips i took with it less then a month ago. I have been using nav since it came out and have always loved it but I swear they screwed something up after update. I have been using it on shortest route instead of fastest since the update because the fastest setting is totally off

Hi folks, I just received my replacement phone (xv6800) through asurion (execellent service btw) and now I am considering *not* using this phone and using an ebay BBerry. Does anyone know if the phone asurion sent me would be free and clear to be activated by any vzw user? It actually appears to be NIB. I was told to expect a refurbished but they must have been out of those.

the other day my moto slvr's battery died. i charged it up and now when i turn it on, it just does in and out of service. i can't do anything with it because it will just freeze whenever i turn it on. i have tried power cycling and pulling the battery with the phone powered on, but none of this is helping. i even tried running the battery completely down to see if that would help, still no luck. does anyone have any idea how to fix this, or if it can even be fixed? i would be willing to completely wipe the device, but i don't know how to do this without being able to get into the menus.

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated, i never realized how addicted i am to my phone... it not working is driving me crazy!

I swear ... if I here one more comparison "how does the voyager and dare compare against i770" or "how does the storm compare against the krave" i'm going to kill someone.

Just kinda curious out there if anyone uses Twitter? Its a cool way to connect to people and quite honestly "microblogging" can be pretty addictive.

i currently have a wireless usb modem from verizon and i noticed that i have a new charge for 1 cent this month. it was a state sames tax, but this is the first time this charge has been on the bill. i have had this service since april and this has never happened to me. i was wondering if this could cause a break in contract and cause me to terminate without an etf.

Is 4.5 OS available for Verizon?

I want to change the esn for one of my stupid add a lines that verizon scoffed. I want to play with it. Can anyone direct me on the website where to go to do an esn change?

I think I may be staying with VZW...I just couldn't stand the boulder another day so I went to the store today and the sweetest lady helped me, even though she didn't have to. (I got my phone online)

She helped me pick out a new phone (different model) only charged me for the difference and transferred everything over to it from my old Sprint phone...GREAT in-store experience!

I got the LG Voyager...WOW! what a KICK $#& phone! I'm lovin it! it does everything I want and more!

I am up for an $100 upgrade. I do not want to spend a whole lot so the dare is out of the picture. I text around 1,000 times a month and make around 5 calls a week. What phone should I get? Are there any phones in my price range coming out in the next few weeks?

Myself and my wife have the Dare and Venus respectively. I have read on here updates for both phones as far as software goes. I have spoken with a tech support rep who said they could not find the updates. I am curious because I see people here who have gotten it but wonder why I am being told something different. I live in the southwest florida market if that helps any, but please someone answer to me how or why I cannot get this update or if the rep is just being dumb. 😈

Did anyone else see the sign-up for the touch & feel preview for the Storm? It ranges from 10/28 to 11/20. I just signed up through the links on blackberrynews.com So I would bank on an 11/24 release. Just heard about the Omnia i900. How does it stack up against the Krave and Storm. Anything else really nice coming between now and summer?

I worked for Verizon a while ago, and I'm now with a different carrier. I haven't been keeping up on this phone, but I want some information. I'm sure these questions have already been answered somewhere so bear with me.

What is the browser on the Storm like? Is it the typcial Blackberry browser, or has the browser been upgraded to a full HTML browser? I suppose it wouldn't be that big of a deal because you could always download something like Opera MIni into the phone anyway, but what is the browser that's pre-loaded into the phone? Actually, that brings up another question which probably can't be answered yet. Will the phone support third party applications like Opera Mini? As far as I know, Opera Mini requires a keyboard to func...

Alright guys, I have searched here and HOFO and I cant find what I am looking for so I need somebody to point me in the right direction.

Im not asking for a walk through (unless somebody is volunteering :wink🙂, I just need a link or a point in the general direction how to bypass VZW charging for tethering to VCast phones via the Mobile Office Kit to use as a modem.

I know this thread was beat to death about a year ago but I cant dig deep enough to find the answer on how to do this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and Ill return the favor in the future im sure.
