call entertainment.

so you guys have seen the super troopers "meow" scene where they just do crap like that to make their job interesting. so just to share our thing: if you press ctrl+alt down arrow (up arrow to go back to normal screen) your screen will flip upside down. well try taking a call like that. pretty impossible unless your eyesight is seriously screwed up. what do YOU do.

Blackberry or Palm Centro

Okay I have come to this debate before. I received an upgrade coupon in the mail that would garner me $50 off any new every 2 phone that verizon offers. Now originally I was going to get the new Blackberry Curve however a friend of mine who works for Verizon says that the Palm is pretty sweet. SO I ask the loyal readers of the forum which one in their opinion I should get. I have gmail for email so thats not important but I like the idea of having access to a full HTML web browser when needed. I was also looking into the LG Dare I think its called.

Thanks

Blackberry Curve, LG Dare or Palm Centro

Okay I've posed this question in the past. I am looking for the latest and greatest of these 3 and have kind of leaned toward the blackberry for verizon. Here is the thing the idea of having an all touch phone is not really what i'm after but the thing looks awesome. can someone give me an idea as to what to lean towards.

Water Damage for 8830??

I have the 8830 for Verizon and I just looked at my battery and I noticed that there is a pink line in the middle of the white box on the battery. Does that mean I have water damage?? If so, can I get a new battery and if I encounter problems later on I'm okay?? Thanks

Cancellation Fee Question

For many many various reasons we are *considering* leaving Verizon to go over to Sprint...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not treat this as a "Sprint Sucks!" or whatever thread...I just have a simple question for those Verizon folks out there. If my wife and I are on a family plan, my line primary her line is an addon, would we then only have to pay one cancellation fee? Or would each line on the family plan have a cancellation fee?

Thanks!

Full HTML Phones and Family plan

I'm in a pretty basic family plan and was wondering if it is possible to get one of these new phones with HTML and upgrade only my number with web capabilities. Or do I have to change the whole family plan over to something new for it to work. Sorry for my ignorance on this one. I had tried the verizon site but couldn't find anything about it. Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure what the plan is call but it's like 700 minutes for 69.99 + 10.00 each for additional lines.

Verizon is to expensive

With sprint 130 bucks buys you a 2 person 1500 minute family plan, which include nights at 7 pm, unlimited txt, unlimited data (including bb bis) and GPS, and TV!!!

verizon just cost a ridiculous amount of money and provides know better service than sprint.

Verizon family plan for two

1400 mins 90 bucks

unlimited txt 30 bucks

two bb bis data 60 bucks

GPSx2 20 bucks
200 bucks with verizon ๐Ÿ˜ณ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

what up verizon? ๐Ÿ™„

No 7PM? No Rollover? So...what do I get here???

First off, I am a Verizon customer. Have been for 5 years. But I'm about to be a free agent and I see all these nice deals elsewhere. AT&T has Rollover. Sprint has 7pm (or even 6pm) nights. What does Verizon have that competes with these cool features? Because I may stay if I'm missing something here. I'm just sick of these high bills.

Employee accounts

Does anybody know what happens to an employee plan purchased phone if the line is disconnected within say a couple weeks or so of activation? The reason I'm asking is I'm thinkin about ditching my Verizon employee account and buying the new iPhone and wanted to just buy new phones on three new lines to give to some friends so they wouldn't have to renew their contracts to get new phones.

I figure that since Verizon is doing away with the low cost plans and forcing everybody to go the higher ones I may as well pay 20.00 more bucks for a great phone and live customer service (as opposed to the lame site they have for us to make changes in Vzweb). It is sad that although Verizon claims they are "more closely aligning the employee experienc...

I also just ported out

I'm not here to bash Verizon. They're a great company and there is no denying that. I was with them for 8 years. At one point yes, Verizon had the best service by far. At this point the top 3 networks are almost identical as far as signal goes. Maybe Verizon has a larger coverage area by 10% or so but Sprint has a larger REV A EVDO network. I just switched and service is actually better with Sprint in a few areas. Everywhere else it's identical. If I happen to loose signal (which I haven't yet) I can just roam on Verizon or Alltel for free.

Most importantly I am saving A LOT of money and actually getting more. As a consumer thats very important. Money is not something to throw out the window.

With Verizon I was getting 59.99 for 450 ...

Rhapsody

Has anyone here signed up for Rhapsody through VZW yet? It's been a while since I used Rhapsody, so I'm curious as to how the unlimited use (with subscriptions) works with cell phones. I mean, don't the songs that aren't purchased (only synched as part of the subscription) have some sort of DRM? You'd think that the phones would need new software. I'm using a VX-8550, for the record.
