Anyway, looking for a good phone, pda's are OK but not totally necessary or just a basic, that supports bluetooth and a camera would be nice. Signal strength and battery life are my main concerns as my V3xx is getting tired. Also, where would be the best place to get said phone? I received a very nice phone call about 20 minutes ago or so from a representative of Verizon Wireless.

This came as a result of my email to them using the online form via the website, not the "voice of the customer" tool.

I was assured that the matter would be handled accordingly with the tech support person I spoke with, and whom spoke so inappropriately to me. I was also offered a very fair credit to my account, which was unexpected.

I am grateful that this matter is closed.

I am also very thankful to those people who reached out to answer my direct question, offered constructive advice, and whom were so understanding of my feelings on this matter.

I was happy with my use of minutes for mobile browsing but was switched to this megabyte charge scam, she told me it was better bc I save $5 a month. I literally went online to check the baseball score on ESPN 4 times in 3 days... no downloads, nothing... cost me 1.99!

For the first time in about 8 years, I had a really bad experience with a VZW tech on the phone last night.

The customer service person was great, but once connected to the tech support person, it went downhill very quickly.

He belittled me, questioned my phone usage and overall insulted me.

Understanding that everyone has a bad day, I slept, and prayed on what happened. Still upset this morning I called to register my experience. They filed something called a "voice of the customer" complaint.

The woman I spoke today was very nice, apologized over and over, but neither my family or I really want to stay with a company that would employ someone like this.

Has anyone noticed with google text they are not giving the phone numbers anymore? I did it yesterday and just got the address, I also have some friends that have had a problem with this.

Will the Dare be able to open either PDF or Word attachments to e-mails?

I'm interested, what term contract do most of you choose? I know that most people I know know choose two years and then seem to not be able to keep the phone and then pay full retail or pay 6 bucks a month for ins and then a 50 deductible. Most people I know just want a new phone when it comes out and still do two years and then pay full retail. Wouldn't it be better if we all just paid 70 extra and did a one year contract? It seems like it would save everyone more money.

I bought the env2 and a bluetooth adapter for my computer. When I try and synch the two together it tells me that the phone provider has blocked this function. I will assume I am doing something wrong and that Verizon cannot be that scummy.

Any adivce on how to accomplish this?

My old phone would synch and my entire phonebook and ringers and music etc.. would automatically appear.

Having lots conversations with my crackberry friends, a very interesting rumor has surfaced from a creditable friend, however he does not work for Verizon.

Will the Thunder be launched on July 11th at 199.00 to compete directly with the new iPhone? Has Blackberry and Verizon decided to take on ATT and Apple?
