any word on when verizon will get this phone? i'm porting to verizon the second i can get this phone! any rumors of a possible release date?

1st...haven't heard from ya in awhile. 2nd, vzw sent an email to the dealers to see what we are doing to generate new numbers (since their numbers were way off last month). I sent an email asking what they were doing to help US get new numbers...ie, quit holding back inventory...colored chocolates!

Speaking of that...I missed 8 sales last month to people that could go right online and get the red/green chocolates...but we couldn't get any to sell. I miss one of the volume levels by 4 freaking numbers! So, whenever they shot about numbers, I shout back about inventory...and ask them for the 2 grand they cost me...

Ok, Verizon made it so if you were on a $79.99 plan or higher you can do phone upgrades every year with a 2 year contract.

I know someone that is on the $39.99 plan and they called in and got a new 8300 a year into the 2 year contract. The store told him no, was not on the right plan, but then a rep says yes they can do it, after the supervisor approved it.

My question is, if verizon wants to encourage people to sign up for higer plans and give those people certain benefits for doing so, why are they also doing it for the $40 plans. This person is extremely cheap and see's that I get certain things because I am on a higher plan, and then they go in and get the same thing on the cheap plan. All that does is tell these people on the ch...

So, theoretically, this would mean that just as in the case of Sprint, if you are texting under the pay-per-text (no plan) then you can cancel your contract due to Verizon breaching via material change in rates?

I have the Q but rarely use it for anything other than a phone and text messages. It's in good condition, plus I have unused bluetooth, all the original manuals and disc that came with my purchase.

I was at VZN store and played round with the LG 9900 and really like it. So I was hoping to find someone that has one in good condition and also with original materials that wants to trade.

When will Verizon release their new PTT service. They only have like one or two phones righ now and the service sucks. Please does anyone know when or if it will be even done? I would like to have the PTT feature on my phone because when I was on Nextel I used it alot.

this is insane. my friend has a cingular family plan. his contract ends this month. when i asked about renewals, he was told that there will be an $18 renewal fee for each phone on his plan. verizon and tmobile don't charge a renewal fee. cingular is charging $$$ for customers to renew a cotract and stay with them. how insane is that.

Does verizon have anything that can compare to this phone? Do you think the maxx will be as good? thanks!

Does anyone know when verizon will be launching their new ptt service. They only have two phones on ptt now and they suck and so does the service. I have been waiting for some new service and phones with ptt that have a camera and mp3 player. Cingular and Sprint have several phones with the ptt and Verizon should to!

Does anyone know how to delete the stock ringtones and pictures (wallpaper) that come with the phone on an LG 8300.

(third party did not have a password for my account) A Verizon Rep got into my account at the request from a third party that has no relationship to me or authorization and the Rep released phone calls made by me and times and numbers being called to the third party that requested this information. I found out with in minutes that this had happened. I called Verizon. Verizon did tell me that a Rep by the name of *$%) did look into my account and they did see the party that requested the information from him. It is under investigation and the rep has been spoken too. Obviously caused me alot of grief beyond imagination. Seems like that is wrong of Verizon to allow this to happen. Any input?

Ok say i have a stolen phone. Didnt know it was stolen at the time. I activated it and it was not yet reported stolen. Then someone reports it what happens?

I'm looking for a new BT headset and I was wondering what others experience has been with this particular headset (or other new ones).

Also, is it possible to go to a Cingular store to simply buy the headset without being a contracted customer?

I work for tmobile, and have 2 1/2 years with the company. Im debating on working for verizon, and its a tough decision. Im an assistant manager with t-mobile, and since verizon doesnt like to hire people straight to management, id have to take a step down. i need some verizon employees to convince me so the decision isnt as tough. thanks
