Shh, don’t tell the ATT fanboys.

I know this is the VZW forum and I also posted this in the rumor forum. But I just had to share for those who haven't heard anything about this. 👀
Plus it's a total ‘in your face’ for the ATT iPhone users, since there rightfully so being blamed for ATT’s network woes. 😛
This is so funny… 🤣 🤣 🤣

This sounds very much like he's laying the groundwork for putting a cap on iPhone downloads. That, or degrading their rank in packet prioritization so that less hungry users get the first shot at the bandwidth.

And from ATT's CEO:

De La Vega says that these users will have to be dealt with because they are "crowding out" the rest.

Gee I wond...

New Commercial

I have to admit not a huge Verizon fan, but the new commercial slamming AT&T for their weak network and "I have an app for that" is awesome. Much better than the dweeb saying "You're Good!" all the time. 😁

Tmobile has some big news!

So big that it has a code name "project black" and is supposed to lift T-mobile out of the the number 4 spot among national carriers! (I hear a buyout announcement.) Or maybe this could be a HOAX, who knows. Well i'm going to sit back and see what happens. Here's is the link below:

Omnia II (i8000) at J&R in NYC to play with

I just played with the Omnia II (i8000) today at J&R Computer World in downtown Manhattan. First let me start by saying J&R has all the unlocked imports (GSM primarily) months before their US siblings are ever released. I recall playing with the original Omnia i900 in July 08 there and it wasnt released by Verizon til Dec 08.

So back to the Omnia II. Yes its not the Verizon version and yes it has the cube button, but other than that, there only a few software differences speced out for the Verizon version.

Now for the review: The AMOLED screen is incredibly awesome. Its bright, sharp, and rich in colors. I placed it side by side with the HTC counterparts and it blew away HTC's screen hands down. With the HTC, the screen appeared flat a...

HTC Imagio video out?

Does the HTC Imagio that is now offered by Verizon have a video/tv out function? If so has anyone tried to do the V-Cast TV with Video/TV output and with the proper cable hooked it into the A/V in of a TV set (does that work)?

Return Policy for phone purchased at retail price?

If I decide to purchase a phonme at Retail (say the Imagio for $580) what is the return policy? Is it still 30 days and $35 restock fee? Also I know there is a limit of one return on a contract purchased phone. Is there a return limit on Retail price purchased phone with no COntract? So can I purchas a phone at retail today, return it within 30 days for another phone at retail, and again within 30 days later?

Reason I ask is cause I am not sure I want the Imagio, TP2, Omnia 2 or an Adroid phone. But I want something now.

Touch Pro 2 in WMP 6..5 when?

Hi Guys! I am ready to upgrade to TP2 from my trusty i760, but am wondering when the WM 6.5 version will be available. On VZW web site the TP2 is currently out of stock, I am assuming they halted the 6.1 shipments in anticipation of the 6.5.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

WIRELESS SYNC IS BEING DISCONTINUED!!!!!!!

Hey, does anybody know that wireless sync is being discontinued at the end of this year? Apparently Nokia was hosting it and they are dropping it.
Currently there is NO EQUIVALENT REPLACEMENT
that will sync email, contacts and calendar with outlook without an exchange server!!!!!!
If you are as upset about this as I am, you can write to:
Verizon Wireless Correspondence Department,
20 Alexandria Drive, CT 06492
I don't even know if this is legal, as it has been offered with the plans and smartphones as a service!
GUYS AT VERIZON: GET A REPLACEMENT FOR VZWSYNC!

VZW you’re making hard

To stick around, my buddy recently got a TMO Mytouch 3G.
https://www.phonescoop.com/carriers/forum.php?fm=m&f ... »
And his data speeds continually trump mine with VZW. Also it may be I’ve never had an Android phone and he’s always showing me some new cool app that cost next to nothing or was free.
Not to mention the Mytouch 3g, for it’s size is a pretty sweet device and it’s touch screen is really nice better than any of the LG’s I’ve owned.
I know, I know TMO doesn’t have nearly the coverage as VZW but I’d say there just as reliable and their data package is $5 cheaper.
And actually I had TMO years ago and didn’t have a problem with them at all. The only reason I left was no 3G ba...

Imagio, say it ain't so...

Only 128 MB of RAM and 256MB of storage... ☹️

A phone this awesome should have at least the same hardware as the TP2. 🤨
