I sooooo want a side slide phone, I love VZW, love 'em so much that even though I work for Sprint and have for 5 yrs. I have stayed w/VZW through everything, even when I can get a better deal through sprint... But I wants a slider, NO TOUCH SCREEN and the only phone that i can find that comes anywhere close to what i want is the Rival, and I would really love this phone cuz I love Motorola but I can handle damn touch screens.... As far as I can tell VZW doesnt have a side slide w/o touch screen... OK SO MY POINT/QUESTION is: is there any way I can take a LG Rumor from Sprint and use it on my VZW acct??

I am so sick and tired of seeing these new phones that all look the same. I hope to god when my contract is up in 2010 they'll be something out there worth upgrading to. I am tired of all the touch screens and flip up screens to reveal a keyboard phones. Don't manufacturers have any other bright ideas for new phones?

My contact with AT&T is up! 😁 What phones are on the horizon? I would prefer a touch screen only, no slide or flip out keyboards. Any suggestions?

I have a VZ Curve and I know what it offers as far a texting, email, and the web. Frankly I have not been a big fan of constant battery pulls, and the fact that sometimes the phone does not ring at all when someone is trying to call, plus the fact it costs $30 extra a month for these services. If I went with the Rogue or for that matter any of the "dumbphones", what are their email, web, and messaging differences from what I am using?

I was just curios to know if there is any phones on Verizon's network that doesn't have all the V-cast ugly red graphics? They even put them on the BB Storm didn't they? I used to have a Samsung Glyde and although it had a decent media player (ok, I MAY have given it more credit then it deserves) I just couldn't get past all the horrible, out dated, red and black Verizon v-cast skins (for lack of better term).
That's one thing that makes me wonder about the iphone on Verizon. If it wasn't for the alpha tag on the phone, you wouldn't know it's an at&t phone. If it were on Verizon they would probably try to force all their crappy out dated graphics into the phone.

After pondering for a while I finally realized what apple does not have an app for. Dropped calls!!!!! That would be like the greatest app or the iphone too. Haha. What a phone!!!!!!

Does the samsung alias 2 need a data plan or no? Could the family connect plan suffice for it?

Well we can count Tmo's TP2 out, we already know that version doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack, that one is coming out 8/12. We don't yet know if AT&T's version will have a 3.5mm headphone jack, !!BUT!! it certainly appears Verizon's version of the TP2 will indeed have a real 3.5mm headphone jack.

I have now 4 tours replaced so I am on my 5th phone! I can hear everyone great people just can't hear me ! After the 30th phone call to verizon someone in Data Tech support told me it has to be an issue because of the allte/verizon merger! So I now see a light on the other end of the tunnel! I love this phone but at the same time I hate it ! But if it is a error on the network That will be fixed and I will be happy!!!! So if you are having any problems and you are in an area where they turned alltel into verizon this could be the problem!!!
