i have a quick question, i ordered a cingular phone from ebay for my girlfriend. the problem is she is on suncom service. im with cingular and i have some connections, so im sure i can get it unlocked. it should work with suncom right? if i get the settings from the internet will the multimedia messages work and internet work? i dont think thats a big deal for her, because they dont work on her current phone....but there are certain perks to your beautiful girlfriend having a really good camera phone with the ability to send you pictures and videos..... 🤤

Yes, get cingy to unlock it and call SunCom "customer care", they can send they settings to the phone over the network.

i've got the calls and the texts working, but does anyone know how to manually set up the MMS settings? since the phone isnt supported by suncom, i dont think they can send the settings.(its a Sony Ericsson S710)

They should at least be able to give you the settings over the phone or try sending out the settings for another recent Sony Ericsson phone, that should also work.
If I remember right, the APN for iLink+ is 'internet' and the APN for MMS is 'mms', but thats all I think I remember off the top of my head (and these could be wrong)
