....and boy do they know it!! 👿 if you're in window now is the time to call att and get your promos! a one yr agreement on a qualifying plan (which is pretty much all of them) can get you upto 650 more anytime mins and early evenings as well as ultd mobile to mobile! Our customers seem to know they can get everything when its that time in the yr. Customers just call and straight say..."my contracts up, what are you going to give me to stay w/ you" which wasnt much of a threat until freakin number portability! thanks FCC! 😛

Little do they know that all those promos screw them later if they ever need Discretionary credits 😈 "Discount off phone? I can give you $1.50"

Those promos doesn't screw them for discretionary credit what does is the new policy ATT thats within first 60 days you can pretty much credit for anything under misunderstanding or misinformation which depletes their loyalty credit to where its like $1.50, but you what the sweetest is?

Customer calls in has like 4 lines on shared plan, they agrees to extend to get like a discount on a phone, but since its a shared plan ALL lines get extended since company policy is all lines MUST have same End date of contract.Get a Few of those gets you lots of contract renewals.

Accually you should see. Remember that promo way back in april or so that had 1000 anytime minutes and unlimited N&W for 39.99? I've seen a few people on it that use all those minutes and they have adjustment advisors of like $5 - $10.

Haha. That's funny. I'm TDMA so i don't get to see charter plans. But i can imagin those calls "I pay $100 a month and i can only get $20 off a phone" "Yes sir. Frankly you don't make us any money."

Well see i'm dual trained for tdma and gsm, it's like the Regional Advantage plans that have the feature that gave the free roam like the Digital One Rate had a couple they were on the "old" 69.99 packages but they were valued at .38 or .86 becuase of the off network roam fees and how much revenue they generate, just as fun, specially on the prices of like the 6560
or the 3560

I'm still TDMA too and to be honest with you I want GSM training, crazy eh! Do you get a lot of dead air or buttons being pressed in your ear. I think a lot of GSM customers who migrated from TDMA gave their phones to their kids to play with because I never used to get dead air and now I get like 10 a day.

I did and I know my son's first phones will be prepaid until they have credit for their own post paid and I'll still lecture them so they don't screw themselves (by then cell phones will probably have a built in PC, fax machine, scanner, their still babies)

😉 😉 thats almost as good as the call I took, the Ladies son downloaded the Spiderman Movie 650 Megs at 3 cents a kb,then before escalating i "offered" from the adjustment advisor ax goodwill "39.99", they escalatedto get the credit no only not offered again but were after being told they were going to sue ATt ,they were advised theywould be fined By the Studios owners for pirated material-$50 000 fine 😈 😈

It wasn't me that took the LOTR call but it was a friend of mine. It went the same way. They were offered some money in adjustment and Res informed them that taking this to court would not only fail as it is legitimate charges they would also get fined for pirating matieral. You know $16,000 (give or take a thousand) is quite a bit to pay for a movie that was comming out 2 weeks later 😛

🤣 That is great. I love it when people who have legit charges get shot down hardcore by res. I wish that I could tell customers what I really think of them when they are blaming me for their $1000 wireless bill.

😈 😈

Thats ok i did something totally sneaky.i had this customer who had the 99.99 charter plan, but in his area his area coverage was on the 850 mhz range and his phone had only 1900 mhz, do to the recent overlay from cingular, and i told him it was due to the plan he was on and by sounding so sincere i got to not only give up the charter plan, but sign on for a lower plan for 2 year signed contract for the priveledge of selling him a 3120 nokia for 19.99 ,which is a ****ty phone, but works on the 850/1900 mhz. 😈 😈 😈

And remember the most important rule when it comes to contract renewals. 😈 If a customer wants credit and if its anything other then for a billing error, then $25.00 buys you a new contract renewal. And by them keeping for more then 30 days locks them into it,According to ATT policy, the same rules apply to promotion add ons. 😈 😈

You want a promotion with no extention, ill add it on.Then dispute it after the reps notes its with an extention, whats the customer gonna say" they told me i could 200 extra minutes, unlimited mobile to mobile and 7pm nights and weekends with no renewal"Who's gonna buy that with a good note 😈 😉
