Need help choosing a new phone
I have been with AT&T for quite a while and am willing to stay with them when they change to Cingular, though i'm wanting a new phone any day now. I've been looking for something with video recording, EDGE, megapixel camera, all in a flip model. Though realizing that this isn't at all possibile at this poing, I might have to give up at lease one of those to make this a reality with new phones coming out.
It might be that AT&T is waiting on the takeover to be complete or close to it, before launching any new phones. That or we might see all new phones when Cingular takes over. Can someone assist me in choosing a new phone, or is waiting into October a better option?

well we at att have no FLIP phones that are edge enabled. but we do have moto v505, is flip, Multimedia - integrated VGA camera with 4x zoom, MMS, MP3 ring tones. although it does not record video, it does have video playback, you can play videos online and receive streaming video, not to mention its a nice looking phone. NOW if you want to sacrifice the FLIP, you can get a nokia 6620 that has....Digital VGA quality camera, Video Recorder - picture size QCIF (176x144) or subQCIF (128x96), RealOne Player(TM) - stream RealMedia and 3GPP-compliant content , and BLUETOOTH, as well as Multimedia Memory Card (MMC) slot, not too many phones have that, you can get all this if your willing to sacrifice the flip, i say its a fair trade!
