we're stopping our offering of tdma in stores to new customers very soon. writing on the wall.

TDMA does suck, I definitely wanna work for Next Generation. Any thoughts on whether Cingular will continue to utilize us when the merger goes through? 😕

So, Sprint is taking over the TDMA network from ATTWS? Will then, ATT's towers on TDMA automatically become Sprint towers once ATT gets taken over by Cingular?

no, at&t corp has deal with sprint to start at&t wireless again.

the AWS now has nothing to do with sprint.
none of their towers, just the name when at&t corp will legally have the rights to it.

6 months after the ATTWS/Cingular merge becomes final, AT&T will become a MVNO - mobile virtual network operator. They will basically become a reseller of Sprint airtime, much like Virgin Mobile & Qwest. AT&Ts current towers have absolutely nothing to do with any of this.
