Is the Samsung x426 really that bad?

Someone on my family just bought one and if it's a horrible phone I want to recommend she return it. I recommended she ask for Nokia but people are so stubborn saometimes. Since she didn't take my advice I'm wondering if I should just let her keep it. If she likes the phone and it's not that bad I would like her to be happy but if it is as miserible as I've been hearing I'll bear the bad news and tell her to return it. If I do, should I recommend the 6010 or the 3595?

well to be honest, we did have some issues with the X426..... the software that was in it wasn't the right kind so if customers had the older version of the X426, then they would experience poor microphone service, and then we had to refer our customers to samsung. Me personally, i would recommend a Nokia anyday over the X426 for the simple fact that i have had a nokia before and it was the toughest phone i had !!!. between the 3595 and the 6010 the 6010 is a newer phone, just came out about 2 months ago... the 3595 has been around almost since we first came out with GSM. some people don't like the way the keypad is. I would get the 6010 for that simple fact that the keys are separate and not so weird looking. hopefully that helps you out....

I don't believe the X426 is the wrong choice, but just like any other electronic devices there could be a bad batch produced.

Try to convince the buyer to change the phone ASAP before the 30 days buyers' remorse is over and if issues persists with same phone model/brand then substitute to a different kind.

A nice looking phone as a comparable replacement for that model could be the Motorola v180 or perhaps any LG phone would do well.

Good luck

Recommend either to her as the 426 has had MANY problems since it's inception. Nokia simply makes the best GSM phones, period.
