My opinion of a nice model is the Motorola v180. It's one phone that Motorola has released that's a good solid one with a wonderful reputation, since it takes after the v60 series, at least to most aspects.

JUst bought my wife the Samsung e316 and I can cast my vote for that one too.
As for motorola...NO! The most user UN-friendly phones I have ever seen...and the negative feedback from customers backs that up.
