For all those people who want to know who's the #1 carrier, and how other carriers rate. I believe in the feb. issue will have the "low down" on the cell world.
I don't believe in the J.D. Powers reports but CONSUMER'S MAGAZINE states the facts.
I read last year's issue and they were right on in their facts.
So all you people out there who are interested in the facts, wait for the C.S.'s feb. issue to come out, you may be surprised! 🙂

Who cares, Consumer Reports is just as dumb as any other ratings guide... in fact, CR is by far the dumbest... I read a review they once did and they compared rate plans horribly in it...

The best example is when they tried to compare regional plans of the carriers back when they were more prevelant:

"PC 'X' is better because it is a 1.8 Ghz P4 and the Athlon 1700 PC doesn't have as much Mhz...

JD Powers is nothing more than a Nielon's. Consumer Reports has been trying for years to determine the "best" carrier.. it's completely laughable.

I've read that same article on http://www.consumerreports.org (it's available online for a $4.95 monthly fee) and the survey was taken in six metro areas: Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., metro areas.

According to the ratings report, the responses are based on a survey of 21,944 CONSUMERREPORTS.ORG subscribers that was conducted in SEPTEMBER 2002...over 1 year ago...and was based on service from the previous 12 months...which means that the dates in question would have covered September 2001 thru September 2002...over 2 YEARS AGO.

The highest score a company could receive is 100 (completely satisfied); an 80 means they were very satisfied and 60 means they were fairly well satisfied. The f...
