just got off the phone with a cingular rep...
and thought I might pass on this info
a) if you have two individual plans on ATTWS
and want to switch to cingular come Nov 15th,
you do NOT *have* to change phones, unless
the old phones are TDMA or so.... you can continue using the existing GSM phones
b) the rep said that they will be able to
unlock the ATTWS phones come Nov 15th !!!

While anything is possible....I highly doubt this will work as we were told in training that the AWS phones might work for phone calls, but you could, and probably would, miss out on the benefits Cingular provides, like rollover and data usuage. To get all the benefits, the phone must have the right software loaded.
Plus, Cingular is going to all 64k Sims which will not work with AWS phones.
So....don't get your hopes too far up.
