Wait or upgrade now?

Question for the masses: Currently on good old TDMA phones with ATT. On an acct iv been sharing with my mother for years now, She wants to change the plans so save some cash, and when she called in, was told would have to get new phones and plans of course. Iv read the forums here, and the "newcingular", Should we act now before these upcoming changes or wait? Personally one reason I myself am a little reserved in changing is the loss over coverage with going to GSM.. I'm not talking about in-town coverage, but outer suburban, and into smaller areas.. mostly referring to central Oregon. The family is out there a fair amount and GSM coverage there, if you ask me is a joke, TDMA at least works. Besides coverage, theres also the plan deta...

Oh.. last mintue addition, forgot this since was talkin about wireless web capable phones. Besides text which i mentioned, anybody know what gonna happend to the data plans as well?

I work for ATT customer care and I strongly suggest for you to wait at least to the end of November to get the best deal on anything.

The reason I mentioned for you to wait is so that you could get one of those new GSM phones that are configured to the new 64k SIM and smart roaming feature.

As far as plans we have not gotten any detail information as to what is coming. I know we should be receiving such information around Nov 15 but that could change anytime.
