Reception in NYC - CT Metro Area

I'm shopping for a new wireless service to switch to from Sprint. From speaking to my friends, Verizon seems to have the best coverage everywhere, and AT&T is second best. I would go with Verizon, except that the phone choices suck, and AT&T has much better deals.

I'm thinking about switching to AT&T with the Sony/Ericsson T616 ( https://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?i d=275 ). Does anyone know how the reception is in NYC and CT with the T616 and with AT&T in general?

Hello, good to see you!

As for your question, I'm not sure. The only reason I'm answering you right now is to tell you that you probably won't get an answer until tomorrow about your question because everyone seems to be off on weekends.

What I CAN tell you is that the phone you chose is a good phone. The only problem is not the phone, it's the service. ATT has good coveridge on the TDMA side of things but I Have no Idea about the GSM in that area. And GSM is what you would have to subscribe to if you chose the Sony T616.

I guess this post was all for nothing but you should be getting lots of answers tomorrow.
