Not forever...but they can stay with an attws phone and plan for quite some time (a year or more in some cases) Before we start requiring you to switch over.

and if you keep hearing the same thing from people...chances are it may be true. ;)

For the time being, ATTWS customer's are going to be allowed to stay right where they are. This does not mean forever though. Eventually they will have to move over, but it could be a year or so from now.

We have not been told anything about they can only stay thru the end of their contract.

Also keep in mind that some ATTWS customer's in various markets are going to be sold to another company unless they move to Cingular. This is part of the divestiture agreement. I have heard that OKC customers are going to be affected for sure. When this is going to go down, I do not know.

But I do know this.....EVERYTHING I just mentioned above could change in a heartbeat. LOL Ain't it great!?!?!?

For customer's that just signed a new agreement, whether it be a new plan or new phone, they still have the 30-day buyers remorse period to go back to what they had and then move over to Cingular once the new plans/phones are announced.

But, if they did sign a new agreement, they also will not be forced to move to anything new. It is entirely their choice. Their plan will still be honored and their new contract will still be valid.

As for the Charter plan...everyone I talk to seems to think that it will eventually go away, BUT nothing has been determined as of yet. I spoke with one of the head trainers with AWS yesterday and was told that they are still trying to work things out, but that she didn't expect it to last.

Yeah they were speculating at our training too, but they said "hypothetically" that the company doeshave to do some divestures, but they said those charter plans if in those markets ight be targeted for transfer to another carrier, she also hinted that the timeline at this point 'could' leave them on those 99.99unlimited plansfor up to 180 days after that they might get the squeeze to another plan or sent to another carrier.

The only thing she said for sure is that plan wont last much longer between now and after 2005
