Switching to Cingular from Att?

I was just about to get a new phone from att(renew contract), but how will that work now?

You'll just have to serve out that contract and then migrate. I think cingular may actually forgive your contract if you migrate to them. *shrug*

Yeah, they will. Customers who are currently under contract with attws will not have to pay ETF (early termination fee) if they migrate to Cingular. However, they can not use the loophole for the "initial trial period" when you would normally be able to cancel a new service to get out of their ETF.

To answer it ahead of time for those customers that think theyre slick and try to find every way to get out without penalty, duh.....
