how long until you can switch
if you sign a contract with cingular for a 2 years, how long do you ahve to wait until you can get another phone with the same plan...or another phone if you renew your plan?

You wouldn't be eligible for any real good discounts till after 2 years are up, see you get a discount off the phone based on contract length for example phone is 200.00 retail with 1 year contract 50.00 rebate discount- 2 year 100.00 rebate,
again just an example- so after 1 year you could sign up for new contract but after 1 year you are really adding 1 year to what you alredy had which is legally the most you could be signed up for at any given time.
If you really want to upgrade wait 1 year and see what the best offers are with the renewal at that time
