I live in Lousiana. Before leaving for vacation to NJ, i stopped by a Company owned store to make sure that v400 would work in New Jersey where i was going. They told me that Cingular didn't have service there, but ATT did. I have a 32k sim card, not a 64k, but they told me it didn't matter, my phone would work because the v400 works on 1800mhz, and thats what ATT uses in NJ.

Well, i dont have service. How do i get my v400 to start picking up ATT towers?

Thanks!

What plan are you on? Call customer care and check your IRDB settings. That should do it for you.

64K sim or not, you should still be able to pull from at&t....like they said, call CS, and have them send a push to your phone.

Actually, where are you in Jersey? what city? or zip?
