hey...just wondering since we have a wide range of posters here...reps, customers and so on...i had an sst rep ask me for my critical info.. (call center location full id etc..) reason being, "i know this customer will ask me that so can i get that info from you to tell her." ooooook....
1: NO
2:we have policys to follow...
3: NO
and 4:....no
THEN he escalates! and asks for my supervisor! wtf is THAT all about? like nothing against sst...but i mean that just makes me want to hang up when i see the number on my call id. and to top it off, when he hangs up before the sup can take the "call" he files a coaching report, because aparently i was "rude to him"

Okay, wait one minute! Not all SST's are idiots. But as an SST that does a pretty good idea of what's going on, I have this to say to my fellow SST reps....."It is better to appear stupid, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt!"

You all know how I feel about SST...
I just got an intellegent one on the phone it was a shock. Look even some care reps are rude and stupid. I am 3G and I get these idiot 2G reps transfering 3G customers to me when the customer wants to dispute their last 2G bill. So we have a lot of idiot reps, in all departments granted the bulk of them are in India and SST! Like our customers, we rarely hear from the intellegent SST reps.

in my opinion there are great reps and bad reps. also some in the middle. also have good callers and callers that make life miserable. and this site i think tends to have the bad expiernces vented out. to counter the original message here...i had a sst rep call me up and ask for assitance with a ladys migration. he had already informed her of phone prices, plan options and what she needed to get everything done. normally a migration takes about 10 min for me...going over plans explaining options and so forth. thanks to this rep, that call was down to 5 minutes, and i was able to take my lunch on time. not a big deal i know...but there are reps in sst that should and could be full time. and as mentioned here SO many times, people are more li...
