I have been asked maybe twice in the last four months about if there will ever be a wireless phone number directory. Today I have recieved 3 calls stating that it was reported on the news. As far as I was told in training this violates AT&T Privacy Policy. Does anyone kmow where this is coming from?

There is a Mobile Directory being implemented... Cingular has taken a stance that no numbers will be provided but customer's can list their own numbers voluntarily... The report on CNN was false stating today was the last day to register on the Do Not Call List... There is no deadline to register on the Do Not Call List... You can always do it you just have to wait three months for the telemarketers to stop calling you...

Exacly. This is an OPT IN directory not an OPT OUT. I'm not sure how any of the other companys are doing it except I know Verizon is not going in the Mobile directory and don't give you a choice weither you want in our not.

Well seeing this is a USA based company, and all the US ppl are all about the 'WAR ON TERROR' do we not owe it to our country to publish all the names and numbers. Perhaps Verizon and T-Mobile are harboring terrorists. Ever think about that? 😳 😳
