Can any Blue CS managers assist?

wrath

When I signed up for my ATTWS plan, I was offered 60 additional anytmime minutes for life from the rep on my second and third lines. When I got my bill and view my minutes online, I see that the 60 additional minutes are in fact not for life but for 1 month. How can this be resolved?

60 minutes are not offered for life. Those are normally just courtesy minutes. I'm about 97% certain that there are no promotions for 60 additional minutes monthly. It sounds like there was a misunderstanding somewhere.

I'm not a Care manager, but I'd have to say that it's resolved. You got 60 free minutes on each of the two lines for a month and the month is over. Boom, resolved.

However, you might find someone in Customer Care who agrees with you and will take it upon themselves to pull up your acct every month and apply 60 minutes to your acct just before your bill comes out. Yeah *cough* right. Anyway, call care (1-800-888-7600) and talk to them. Get the rep to tell you whatever it is that he/she will tell you then speak to...

WHAT YOU CAN ALSO DO IS THAT YOU CAN GET AN ADDTITIAL 100 ANYTIME MIN B/C 60 IS ONLY courtesy minutes AND THEY ARE ONLY GOOD FOR 30 DAYS. IF YOU PLAY YOUR CARDS RIGHT YOU CAN GET 100 ADDITIONAL MIN. JUST MENTINON THAT YOU WAS MISINFORMED ABOUT YOUR 60 ANYTIME MINUTES

Sorry but the mention of misinformation is very much played out...Cingular has caught on to this message being spread through all sales channels and if it's proven that this offer doesn't exist...it's not going to happen...time bank min are what Cingular calls them and they are not for life...and if you are given them for another month...trust me it's noted that you have and after that you are informed that this was a courtesy and it's a one time thing

If it is available, which it isn't on all plans, they may set you up with 100 extra minute promo, just be cool and calm when you call up. If the 100 minutes is not available for your particular plan, then they can put the 60 minute courtesy minutes on the plan for one more month, but that's it. It really depends on the rep you call in and talk to as to what they will offer, but those are your best bets. A CS manager will not help you on this manner as they do not take calls, and they cannot change reality.

I don't know where you got your knowledge, but you being wrong is mind boggling.First off, theycan't stack promotions, because MDE(Mass Data Entry now goes in removing those. As for the 60 courtesy airtime minutes, if they have been added to one account within 12 months, if they get re-added the MDE removes it as well, as 1 account can only have 1 per every 12 months only. Its a rolling calender so 12 onths from when it was last added.

I see from your "handle" you might be the one of the "trainers" that from west, the one who trained sst reps.If that is the case then i can understand why SST most times don't have a clue what to do, if you give them this kind of info.

For shame.

Directly from P&P:

"NOTE: Courtesy Air Minutes are one of the few promotion types where proper P&P allow for provisioning from the Expired Promotions panel.
The promotion will automatically be removed in CBIS after 60 days. However, if a rep wants to re-offer additional minutes, they would need to remove the original occurrence of the promotion and then add it again."

There is nothing in the P&P about adding courtesy minutes more than one month in a calender year, however, notice it says you have to remove an old promo before adding a new promo, but the promo auto-removes after 60days. If you can't add another promo within a year, let alone 60 days, why would this even be a concern?

You are correct that promos cannot be stacked, ...

MDE is removing stuff, the only difference, is that in siebel, its called CRM, if you want proof, go check accounts that call in with promos removed off account, you'll find either a rep did it in care, you'll see that in the order, or you'll see a rep from CRM, they are doing the MDE insiebel, just as MDE does in AXYS for tdma customers. They are the ones who add the proper things on like World Connect automatically after qualifying, and removing ineligible promos.

I think you're crossing a boundary here that you shouldn't be. Patching on promos will not fix this error if you do not follow the proper procedures.

maybe this is beating a dead dog with a big stick. but here it is. 60 extra minutes is a one time promo. its good for 1 month, to a max of 3, and cant be stacked with like promos. (another 60 min) however you can add 60 + 30 +15.... but its still an exipring promo and will die after 1 month. the 100 minutes is avalable on some plans, as is other like promos....200 extra and so on. however, since these do require a 1 yr contract extension and since the merger, i dont think we can add promos and extend contracts. so you will probally be told sorry cant help you, try our cingular nation plans and pay 49.99 for a new phone! or something simaler.... sorry bout your misinfo tho...but really not alot we can do to fix it. however if you are nice ...

i seem to remember being able to stack....but regardless if your not able to , thats not my point. i was atmeting to point out that since the merger getting new promos will be VERY difficult, since almost every promotion requires a 1 yr contract, and we arent supposed to be extending contracts on blue accounts, but migrating to orange. 😛

you can do it, don't means its right, it also doesn't mean they doin't get removedf , pissing the customer off down the road.Thats the right, youmigrate the customer, youaren't there to help them stay onblue plans, its gona confusing when ATT relaunches with sprint in may, its giveing them tough love now, rather then stacking promos, get them under contract, then get them to migrate later, which will be forced down the road.
