QUESTION FOR EVERYBODY???
I have the AT&T V505 and where I live the service is horrible with AT&T, but is great with Cingular. Ever since I have had this phone I can not get it to switch back and forth hardly at all. I had the Samsung E316 & I could get it to switch to Cingulars towers no problem. DOES ANYBODY have any suggestions!!

Switch to cingular, see the att phone's are set to pick up their own towers information, and your phone is setup to pick up ATT towers, no matter how weak, even if there is a stronger Cingular signal.That can be only temporarily corrected by changing the network setting to cingular- the reason i say temporary is that you phone is always sent updates info for your service w...

Thank you Agent Debbie. I figured that would be the best thing to do but I was hoping I could do something else.

Set the Network Settings to "Fast" or "Continuous" (which one works better for you depends on your trials)...it seems to help out much more for bouncing around between networks easier.
