Does CSP sucks? because for me it does. I rather use ccnet because it is well organized. CSP all the information thrown in one place.I think we should train orange team members in ccnet. Another issue that sucks is that cingular is based by market that is a huge inconvenience for customers I had customers upset because they cna not go to orange because their phone and sim card is from a different market.

CSP has been pretty good so far, but what gets me the most is all the things we lack in POS: Search by SS#, IMEI, ICCID, address, name, etc etc etc.

Also, like you said, not being able to touch out of a market is a real killer; here in Central Florida we work with customers all over the nation on a constant every day basis....i cant even tell you how many activations i've lost, along with qualified contract extension upgrades, plan changes, migrations....etc etc....

Hopefully Cingular realizes the benefits quickly bc its affecting production already 1 month in.

its all rumor that cingular would go to one market but keep this in mind.

cingulars two mother companies are bell south and SBC.

each mother company had its own billing system. those cingular customers with each respective mother company inherited the original billing system... which means that a customer in your area can be on a different billing system than the other. however if you have access to one billing system the care reps should be able to access any market in that billing system, but activations are still market specific.

Makes perfect sense for the different systems. Siebel was a nightmare at first, and still can be, but it gets the job done. I just wish we could have that luxury.
