Contracts anyone?

Good lord. Does anyone even bother reading their contracts... or their phones' warranties?

I've got sooo many people escalating because they "hold AT&T Wireless... or Cingular, whatever you're calling yourselves these days, responsible. YOU sold me a bad phone, so you should warranty it out". Well hello. Take a moment to read your contract, and terms of service, and warranty... then get back to me about the warranty on your defective phone. Grrrrr 👿 👿

I think that was sarcasm... I hope so... Because the customer's killed that saying... It's not true anymore... The customer is either ignorant, mentally ill, or a liar... 😛

Thats nothing, i had a customer call in last night, he is on a charter plan 39.99, and asked where his rebate was he filled out 3 months ago, looked customer bad phone from indirect dealer, never had it activated on the system, was ineligible for the rebate since he was on an expired plan, refused to migrate off cuz he had 1000 anytime minutes, nothing else for promos, and he figures WE owe him for the rebate, since WE never informed him that he was not eligible, despite the fact he never bought the phone from the corp. store or direct at all, and never knew till 3 months later, and we never got any money from him, and on top suspended for non payment.

He tells me good customer service is either crediting him for the value of the rebate,...
