I am looking for information on how to sync the Nokia 6620 with the Mac G4 via the DKU-2 data cable. One question I have is are there different drivers for the Mac vs. PC? Any information would be usefull. I have done this personally with the Nokia PC Suite software and Windows XP Pro, but I am clueless when it comes to Mac.

Looking at the Nokia page for software (http://www.nokiausa.com/support/phones/softw are/1,3048,6620,00.html), it appears that all drivers and PC Suite software is for Windows based systems only. If you happen to have a Windows emulator on your Mac, you can certainly install and use the software and drivers through the emulator. Nokia's direct page for your phone is at http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6620

Then again, there may be some third party software that may work with Mac. I'd advise you that if you use it, it's not going to be supported by Nokia and it may possibly void your warranty. Just be very careful using third party software with your wireless phone.

Good luck to you! 🙂

If you hadn't tried already, you may want to go to the phonescoop forum for your phone and ask this question there as well. 🙂
