Greetings from the deep freeze in Alberta! *brrrr* Least it's not as bad as last year. minus 40's and 50's! 😳 Anyway, long time rep, first time poster in phone scoop. Any other reps getting a little frustrated by the oh so wonderful renew min?
At the time, it seemed like a great idea. Great way to get people to renew contracts, but now it's coming back to bite us in the arse! People on the local 39.99 with 1050 anytime min, unlimited m2m and n/w starting
at 7 at no addtional cost and are wanting a new phone (free of course), refuse to move to cingular since they can't get a comparable plan!
And I'll bet ya anything that the genius who came up with this new perfectly well that att and cingular were going to merge and that it was...

Yeah, I guess that the snow the plows had piled up against the barrier acted as a ramp and she went right over and down into the river. Well, the river was frozen so she didn't actually go in, but the car landed on it's roof. What I can't figure out is, according to the paper, she hit the barrier twice before going over. Now, considering there is a barrier, a sidewalk and then another barrier, she must have been going way too fast not to be able to regain control. *sigh*

Yeah, what a bonehead idea, "Lets give customer a ton of free promos. for a new 1YR contract so that these cusomer are stuck with AWS until the merger is complete and we have no phones left, then when the customer CAN'T get the FREE camera phone from Cingular or that AWESOME rate plan that they have in AWS systems, they can freely port-out to Nextel or Sprint or T-Mobile." The worst is that WE take the brunt of the calls because we are the migration/sales/RM/customer care dept. More responsibilty/same pay/more escalations, I would quit, but I can't find a better paying job.

LOL Yeah tell me about it. I spent 3 years in a video store and i was only making 7.40 there. When I got here and saw the jump in pay, I was freaking amazed. Not to mention some of the benefits. I got a new pair of glasses. 207.00. In the end, i paid 7.00. 😁 Now if I could only stop getting these idots who think we're the ones responsible for raising their taxes every month and that they should be let out of their contract because they aren't paying exactly 39.99 a month, I'd be a happy camper. 🙄
