Hey, this is for the actual cingular reps out there. Now, there are more people in California than in the whole of Canada, therefore, I understand why my cell carrier, Bell, closes after a certain time and I think on Sundays. Small cust base.

Cingular, however, has a rather large cust base. So how does cingular justify closing after a certain time and not being open at all on Sundays? If they would give us ATT reps access to cingular accts, I really wouldn't care about this, but it is incredibly(sp?) frustrating being unable to get a cingular cust some kind of help.

I am aware of the 'after hours help' line, but half the time, it's useless. Just two min ago, a rep sitting next to me called it after trying reg care, and got a cl...

I think this is just something that they have been putting off. There is no real good reason for it. I think it's just kind of a remnant of the former bells that cingular was comprised of. Anyway yeah they should be doing something about this or Verizon will regain the lead earlier than expected.

Geographically Canada is Larger than California or USA for that matter. However Canada has a total POP of 32 million. I'm not sure about the total POP for CA. but it has to be close to 30 million. (L.A. has what 10-12 million just in that city?)

I'm well aware of how big Canada is considering I live here, and perhaps you should learn population stats before you start telling me to learn geography. Thank you Nokomac, X9 and Robold for your answers regarding that and thanks also to the rest of you for answering the *main* part of my question. 🙂

acutally rep, you should read the worlds population stats. Im not sure at this time which has a larger population, buyt last time i looked they were running neck and neck. ANYWAYS. Im responding back because Cingular first of all closes at 9pm because everything most customers need they can do it online. They can change there plan, reset VM password, add features. Why stay open 24 hours? They are expanding there hours to be more like how attws was however. Im so sick of hearing how people think Verizon is going to make this BIG comeback! Do you really think that Cingular is going to allow them to come back and take number 1 spot that easy? Cingular has many more advantages then Verizon. Verizon may have great customer service, howev...

Im working in the Regina center. We are still taking blue TDMA calls but are soon switching to a CSE site. We just rescently expanded our hours to 24/7, but it is only temporary, until we become a CSE center.
At that point, Im not sure what our hours will be, Ive been on night shift for a year now.
