Phone prices

A phone has a one year warranty and I would expect that a phone would last about that long... with extra time being a bonus.

Considering that a $120 phone would effectively cost $10 a month and a $240 phone would cost $20 a month (just for the equipment itself), how much would you be willing to pay for a phone? Would you be willing to buy a $600 Razr that would effectively cost $50 a month?

Personally, I'm a cheapskate and would be unwilling to pay more than $120 for a new phone... unless it's got some features that I really REALLY want.

moto razr is not even really that great. Look at the specs here on phonescoop. then compare it to the SE Z500(much cheaper phone). Only thing it really has is the thin size and long range bluetooth. no radio, no mem stick slot, no flash. for the price of the phone this is unacceptable
