waiving etfs

i replyed to a post prevoius with this same text...but its burried under replies so im reposting as its own thread.


for someone who craps policy and berates other reps for handling business calls or not proper call flow etc, you sure seem willing to violate the same policys. seems to me your a hipocrite. (etfs are NOT waived unless a: death of customer, military leave, migration to preferrd site - gsm with cingular/aws or in last month of contract when a port out occurs. ie, contract end date jan 20, bill cycle ends jan 26th, cance/port out on jab 17th. etf gets waived. also in some cases if your service has no usage (not even 1 minute) for the last little while, so a few months....and then its up to the sup. NOT because guy here is pi...

You know what, if i see a customer is constantly calling in complaining about service day in and day out, i see he is constantly getting"Retention, Loyalty, Goodwill, credits up the ass" yet they still call back in wanting more, then still complain about the service then, yes i will waive the ETF.

The guy/gal is costing the company more money then the customer is worth since what the credits values are,plus the line of credit we extend to him/her by not paying the bill, plus the money it takes to pay us to handle his/her issues over and over again, even though they are non issues.The fact is that after a certain point, we realize a cetain customers have no value to us, therefore its better to cut them off, rather then keep losing money ...
