LOL now thats comedy.

I got a call from a dude wanting to know his account number, I asked why, he responds that he is researching his account... and I am like WTF? I adviced him account is pulling up and asked him thats impossible that he is researching his account, we are the only ones with the info. Guy was obviously porting to another carrier, freaking rude person too, I asked a simple question and all he had to do was honestly answer it. I even asked him if he is porting to another carrier and he stated he isn't.

LOL, ironically my sister accidentally dropped her phone in the our pool, she dove in (because she was heading to the roof to suntan so had on her bathing suit), fished it out, took out the battery, set it on it's side in the sun, couple hours later she used it, display was gone but she could use it normally, then a couple days later the display returned.

If a customer asks for their account number, you should just give it to them. For all you know, they could be needing it for tax purposes, like my job. If you do not provide the information, they can just get it off their bill. 😛

Yeah but he gave me a stupid response that didn't make sense, "researching my account," why not take the time to come up with a better excuse, "I am doing taxes and I need this info."

hehe. I'm no doctor but it sounds more like a manic depressive than multiple personalties. I have dealt with a few like this though when I worked in the industry. Usually they'd come into my store and try to blow me over with anger, and when they got no response they'd start the pleading with me.

I'd generally just tell them I'm a sales rep and you should contact a customer service representative to help you with these problems.

Yeah, this sounds more like manic depressive or bipolar to me, except for the bit about using different accents, etc. that's just wierd.
although it does remind me of one time I had some customer that I had to say "no," to several times, and then his wife came on the phone, introduced herself, then proceeded to lambast me saying how evil I was and how God would smite me down, etc. Then, after several minutes of that, she suddenly changed tone completely and started flirting with me and asking about my love life, and I'm wondering if her husband is still in the room, because I feel bad for him having to live with this woman. And then, after 5 or 10 minutes of that, she starts getting really loopy and begins asking about my smile and talking...

I wish I had him as a customer. Would make my day some what better. I have had a drunk customer who refused to leave. He brought his phone from another store and his phone was bad and he wanted us to give him a new phone from out of our inventory. I told him he would have to go where he purchased the phone and he said he would not leave until I gave him a phone and I could call the cops or anyone I felt like calling and he would still not move. After an hour of trying ...

LOL There was someone in my center once who got a call from a woman who was a legit multipul personalities case. There were hotnotes on it and everything. I guess she called into to talk about her bill and the poor rep would explain it to her and a min later, the second personality would come out and start freaking out again about the bill so the rep had to explain it all over again. And after that, a third one came out. a kid. 🤣
