These Roaming charges ain't my fault...

Ms. Customer calls in, transfered from RM, disputing roaming charges on her plan she had since Jan.2002. I checked account (to build suspense and come up with a good statement to let her know she is SOL). She stated she assumed she could use her phone in Florida. I checked the invoice, roaming charges for that invoice AND back in Sept. for Texas.

I come back, ask a few more questions, go to place her back on hold and she states she has to take her daughter to some lessons in whatever. I advice her that I would be gone for another minute.

I come back, "Unfortunatly man because you assumed that you had coverage in Florida, these charges are something I cannot issue credit for."

She respondes, "I was willing to pay for half the charges...

No she was out of contract, just barely and not on a charter plan.

My luck i'll get her tomorrow, oh well, i'll offer 1/2 the fees on the current bill with a new 2 year with migration, otherwise, i have friends at RM, who can fast track her to OCA, within 5 days.

I'd laugh too, if i hadn't done it before.I had a customer who supposed to be on this plan, wasn't got his plan changed and re-rate for two months.Thats fine and dandy, his average bill should have been based on two lines on family shared plan was about $149.99 + taxes, and the extra line 9.99 plus taxes.They insurance and text packeages so they would have been round that.After getting it settled, the guy paid like no money, you know even if they adjust your bill, you still owe for what you should be on.

He pays nothinh in like 3 months.Calls in, I reviewed his bill, extra charges for e-wallet, 411 calls, kb usage.He also had money owing on his tdma accou...

Hehe I am going to try that next time someone pulls something like that on me... which has not actually happened yet of course though.
