Hearing Test For Customers?

DrDialtone

So, this guy was offered a "free" phone last year (prior to the merger!) and is now surprised and upset that we're not offering him the V3 for free. He even tried the time-honored trick of SCREAMING at me over and over. Sadly for him, my headset has this ultra-modern device we call the "volume control". Somehow "a" turns into "all" in the dark recess of a customer's mind. This isn't new, and it will never go away.

"I'm sorry sir, but that 1/2 off coupon for Slurm expired over a hundred years ago."

"But nobody told me that, so you're going to give me my discount or I want to talk to your brain-slug supervisor!"

There are many things we are allowed to do in life that should require certain tests. Like having a child, now do you really believe half the parents out there should be allowed to breed? Especially people my own age, not ready for kids but have them anyway...unfortunately they will never allow those laws to pass ::: sigh ::: ☹️

Here's what you do, when you are discussing things and think the customer is not listening, mention $175.00 ETF per line, that generally snaps them back into reality.

Doesnt make a diff if they dont want to hear it. When someone has their mind set on something they hear only what they want to. Unfortunately. ☹️

Speaking of hearing. The thing that pisses me off the most is when i say "hi" to someone and they dont respond. Sometimes depending on my mood i give them a taste of there own medicine. Like "Oh im sorry are you talking to me?"

more money in education won't do jack squat if we don't finally get some decent teachers. with rare exception, the teachers we have in most of our schools are abysmal, and the teachers unions won't let us fire them.
