I just had a lady (and I use the term VERY loosely) called and demanded symptoms of things that can go wrong with a phone if it has physical damage. The front line rep was not satisfying her and escalated her to me. The woman had not provided a wireless number nor verified an acct.

She demanded a complete list of every single thing that can possibly go wrong with a phone that has been dropped and damaged. I told her that a whole multitude of problems could be related to physical damage, so I rattled of about a dozen or so things that can go wrong with a damaged phone and then the woman demanded that I keep reading "The List". I told her that I was not reading a list, but in fact, just pulled those out of my head. She yelled that I wa...

She wanted to be transferred to anybody else. She refused to give any acct information at all. She did not have the phone with her. She said that a phone had been dropped, then turned around and immediately denied that she said anything at all about a phone being dropped. She was yelling. She was screaming. She was demanding to be transferred anyone else who was not me. She cursed me out for not giving her the information she wanted.

What she wanted was every single thing that could possibly be a symptom or indication that a phone might possibly have physical damage. I gave the best possible answers, dozens in fact, and still, that was not good enough. As far as I'm concerned, Spanish Care can help her about as well as anyo

20$ say she was asking cause she wants a new phone and wants to be able to give some symptons when she asks for insurance since it's ot on her account and does not want notes saying she called in and asked what symptons were i bet her phone is fine she is going to call and have insurance added to her account then in a couple of days call back in to use insurance to try to get a new one.

I would have said that the symptons vary by make and model and that if she gave me the ESN (or anything else searchable) I could bring up the specific list for that phone. Then I would find her friggin account and note the hell out of it. If is customer starts doing the "fraud dance" they get ZERO respect from me. I'll still sound like a pro, but I will not be doing them any favors. The last dancer I dealt with is now at an OCA with over $2000 in valid charges.

i had a lady call in today because she saw a commercial in November saying ANY of her AWS - Cingular calls were considered mobile to mobile and wanted ALL her overage since then CR back (not able to identify which calls were mobile to mobile and she didn't remember who she called but they were ALL AWS or Cingular) , tried to point out that the commercial makes a point of saying that the account needs to be on a specific Cingular rate plan to get this feature, last rep from March offered 11.50 in CR as that was the first time she had called in about the issue so i offered the same thing, states she's been out of town since then (family tragedy - felt bad but not 500.00 worth of CR bad) and hasn't read any of her bills, (acct is currently sus...
