Countdown to Shutdown

Tea Dez

Well Cingular is victorious. Ok now it's time to look ahead to what the future will bring. You know one thing this buyout has done? It has caused the end to the At&t Wireless forum here on phonescoop. Yeah this forum that alot of people love....to hate. So now my fellow At&t companions we must now get used to posting in the Cingular Wireless forum so people can come over there to spread love....and hate. If you think Verizon hated the 22 million of us before they are going to hate the 46 million of us now!!!!! 🤣 So let the countdown to shutdown begin.... 😉

I am pretty sure that there will not be 46 million customers once the merger is complete. In January alone ATTW lost 2% of its customers, that is roughly 400,000 customers in one month, so if that trend continues over the next 6 months to a year that this will take to complete the new Cingular will have a few million customers less. 😉

I doubt that will happen. A good percentage of customer loss was due to the system problems associated with the new customer service software and LNP problems. Also AWE had not responded to other carriers new promotions yet with the unlimited m2m or any other promo on the imminent horizon. 😉

Besides why would anyone give up the chance to have 46 million customers that they didn't get charged minutes when they talked to. Move over rollover, mega Mobile 2 Mobile is in Da' House.

You know it's kind of boring on the Cingular forum. I think they need some of us AWS reps to go liven things up for them!

...the only way that trend would continue is if the same variables remained constant... refer back to calculus, maybe?

This is not likely at all. 🙄

This is going to bed a looooooooooong countdown. I just hope they keep AWS promos. Unlim m2m, Free phone every 12 months for 2 yr agreement. Cingulars roll over wont hurt either. Maybe now AWS will make a commercial that actually tells people what we have rather then that they trust us.

Dude that is soooo soooooo true about the commercial crap...nobody trust ATT they want to be "IN" like verizon or have Katherine Zeta tell them its good. ATT's market man needs to be stuck in a room with his eyelids pulled open straped in a chair to watch his dumb ass crap till he dies.
