unobservant?

one thing that amuses me about customers that call into warranty exchange is how unobservant some of them are. this doesn't come up very often (because of the way I handle my calls), but when it does, it both amuses me and mystifies me.
for instance, one thing that customers have to do for warranty exchanges is to read certain information from the label inside the device underneath the battery. now, if you say, "please read me all the numbers you see on that label inside the phone," then the majority of the time, they usually leave out one to three things, including some of the information we need. and while sometimes, it is no doubt due to poor eyesight, a lot of the time, it is just a matter of the customer overlooking it, because if you...

i think customers sometimes think you don't need cirtain info, custs are usually good for trying to give you all the info but then you get the cust's that think they know everything and then they only give the info they think you need to know 🙄
