Warranty Exchange Rep's

ATT_IS_DEAD

I think that Warranty Exchange Rep's could be replaced by a voice activated IVR and no one would be able to tell the difference. They are so scripted and machine-like, I dread transferring any of my customer's there.

My favorite is when they try to transfer calls to us, like since when does warranty transfer back to care? 😡

It's actually pretty funny some of the names they use. the aforementioned jimmy dean is a good, there are also all manner of musicians, like paul simon, axl rose, keith richards, and several shanias. some of them have taken names of characters from friends and just traded last names around. and there are even some with names from Gladiator and The Matrix, including Neo. I hear all these and more every day. It's hard not to laugh sometimes.

They transfer back to care for several reasons. migrations, red flags (as wex has no internal red flag procedures nor flexibility to satisfy red flag situations, except in one or two specific situations), and anything else that a customer needs to talk to customer care for. some people also have issues for both wex and care, but call wex first, then want to get transfered to care.

Actually warranty exchange transfers to care for a number of reasons. For example, Red Flag situations since no one can seem to provide a direct number to the save team, migration options, billing questions. Basically anything that does not pertain to processing an exchange on a phone within the warranty period. Oh yeah, we also transfer back when care sets false expectations for warranty.

I have found increasingly that WEX (not north american centers..I still get the rare one from the USA) are trying to get the WEX fee credited... never happens...not with me anyway...

I can see giving a courtesy credit or something if the customer will cancel otherwise. Then again, they're usually under contract and will wind up paying $175 to avoid $14.99 🙄
