🙄 I really liked working for att, but now we are on the constant lookout for the hope that things will soon get better. Has anyone seen it on the other side? Is it really better? Should I look for a new job? 😕

I'm leaving this week. I'm gonna go drive a forklift and when I have problems with my service, I'm gonna call in and demand everything possible and I'll get it too because I know when someone's bullishing me. ("Ish" is the acceptable version of the incredibly nasty word for feces.) Beware orange reps (cuz I'm a Cingular customer). I know the systems and I know your limitations.

By the way, should anyone ever become an Orange rep and have to deal with me. I'll be the angry forklift driver from the Nashville, TN area. Just slip your screen name in the call somewhere and I'll give ya a break. Hehe

I have already applied for new jobs. The one I am hoping to get is with Dell tech support. Four dollars more an hour. It will be beautiful, anything would be beautiful if I can get out of Convergys. 👿

Cost of living here is pretty cheap compared with other places. I live in Tennessee waaaaaay out in the country. And right now working for Cingular in a call center I make 8.00 an hour not counting my 2 raises I have gotten here which put me up to a whole 8.27 an hour. 😛

Yeah it's in Clarksville. And I am really looking forward to $12 an hour especially since my rent is only like 450 a month I am going to have enough extra money to finally go back to school. It will be very nice. 😁

No you don't. Every one of the people who left here and went there just got laid off. At least two of them are working at Wendy's and desperately trying to get back on with the same company that just laid them off. Tsk tsk.

Not quite.. the exchange rate has changed over the last year. The American dollar isn't what it once was. The exchange is at about 0.80 to the dollar now. Meaning your pay of 10.00 is about 8.00 per hour American, still meaning we are cheaper labour.
