I just had a rep calling me for an IMEI check, and after we were done, the rep kept trying to thank me for calling her! hehe 🤣

Oh, when I saw the title of that thread I thought you just finished with one of those customers that says we "forced them into the exchange." My response is always, "We didn't call you and ask if your phone was defective. You contacted us and asked us to work with your manufacturer for you."

Yeah, I try to drive that point home with a lot of people. I love it when they say "I don't have a choice," and I then tell them, "No, sir, I have given you 3 choices..."
It's like nobody knows the difference between no choice and not ideal choices.
I think that everyone thinks this should be like a TV show or a kid's game where there is always one secret solution that works out perfectly for everybody.
I always thought that part of being an adult was being able to consider all the options, however good or bad, and being able to actually choose whichever one you think is the best available, even if it isn't what you want.
We have too many adult children calling us sometimes.
