SST reps only have a very limited system for GSM accounts. Cant make notes, changes such as features, they used to do rate plans, but now those are per call by call basis as a save attempt per the SAVE team.

SST is the stupidest idea ever, why would Cingular/Convergys want to waste money on paying those stupid reps when they don't do anything but transfer calls?? They can at least train them on GSM so those reps can go to some use. I work in GSM and nearly every call is a transfer from SST. Its pathetic. 👿 😡

The reason you get so many transfers from SST is because they are the first department you get through to from the IVR unless they specify something like "Cancel". Some SST reps are glorified receptionists, but those who actually do their job in full don't transfer all calls, I think my transfer % was only about 30-35 (too high for PAR, but considering my position and that it was back in the days of Replinx and SST, I was the shiznit, stats were never lower than 96%) I got at least 2 contract renewals per day, changed TONS of rate plans, helped people understand their damn bill, and that "No, I will not transfer you to Care for that credit" ("My dog farted, can I get a credit for that?").
