hahahaha wheeeeee!!!!!! i just had a caller disupting his contract end date for march 2006, he has cancelled and ported to verizon and got charged the ETF, he said that his contract was over in 2003 ..... but ..... in march of 2004 he accepted a schwack load of promos and agreed to a new contract through the IVR and i got to tell him all this, it made my day, and he tried to argue that cingular didn't honor his contract and the service dropped since the merger ...blah blah blah ... too bad the merge has squat to do with his coverage!!! i think that made my day!! .... just wanted to share this with y'all!! 🤣

My favourite type of call is like this.

"Yea im disputing these charges on my bill"

"Sorry Sir these charges are legitimate"
"No they are not I want credits"

"My apologies but I cannot apply any credits as these are legitimate"

"Then cancel my service"

"I would be more then happy to comply with that request Sir but just so you are aware you are under contract and an ETF fee will apply"

"I dont care im not going to pay it and im going to sue you guys"

"Well im sorry to hear that, is there anything else I can do for you?"

"click"

i would totally agree with those statement because they are all pissed off becasue ATTWS is no longer and that Cingular will not be a pushover due to the fact that they will not be offering any add'l minutes and they don't get anything handed to them on a silver platter, also the ATTWS cust will lose all those minutes they have built up over the years and they poor poor attws cust they won't get their way anymore
