Nope I have not heard of that... I think that customer was bullshitting you just to get what they want, ..just like they all do. They'll do anything for a credit or for a free phone. Money is everything in this country it seems.

I gave no credit or anything like that, they just refused my Cingular offer, mocking me that T-Mobile was offering this. I knew it was BS, I just wanted to confirm. The persons tone of voice gave it away and no company waives the start-up fee. AWS was only doing up to $26.00 of the $36.00 fee and that stopped closer to the merger.

Waived activation fee, pretty plausible from an indirect dealer, so is the free flip phone, we have a couple available on the web site, but the rate plan charge is bogus, it's 39.99 for 600 mins, unlt'd N/W, nationwide.
